Salt Financial changes names and indexes of ETF

RELATED TOPICS

Salt Financial, a provider of data, ETF and index products, has changed the names and indexes of its exchange-traded fund (ETF).

Effective 1 November 2018, the Salt truBeta High Exposure ETF will be known as the Salt High truBeta US Market ETF, and the underlying index will change its name from the Salt truBeta High Exposure Index to the Salt High truBeta US Market Index.

All other aspects of the Fund and its underlying index, other than their names, remain unchanged.

truBeta is Salt’s proprietary beta forecast that the firm believes to be more accurate than traditional estimates. As a result, Salt seeks to build indexes that deliver magnified beta exposure without the use derivatives or borrowing – enabling investors to potentially target 50 per cent more of the market’s returns with each investment dollar.
