Global ETPs gathered USD31 billion in October bolstered by Japan Equities with USD12.8 billion, Emerging Market Equities with USD10.7 billion and US Equities with USD4.3 billion, offset by Europe Equities with -USD1.1 billion.
That’s according to the latest monthly BlackRock Global ETP Landscape report which also reveals that year-to-date flows climbed to USD390.5 billion.
US equity inflows may have slowed to USD4.3 billion amid rising interest rates and equity market valuation declines, but year-to-date flows remain strong at USD124.5 billion bolstered by solid corporate earnings and strong economic growth. Flows in October were driven by Large Cap with USD9.8 billion offset by Financials and Real Estate sector funds with -USD2.5 billion and -USD2.4 billion respectively
Fixed Income flows were mixed amid challenging US Equity markets and rising interest rates. US Treasury fund flows remained strong, collecting USD5.2 billion offset by outflows of -USD2.4 billion from High Yield and -USD2.7 billion from US multi-sector bond funds
