Tilney appoints investment director in Manchester

UK investment management and financial planning group Tilney has appointed Ben Roberts as an investment director. He will join the team in the company’s office in Manchester.

Roberts joins from Brooks Macdonald where he has spent over 6 years as an Investment Director. Prior to this he was private client manager for Brown Shipley Private Bank.
As well as working with external advisers, in Tilney’s Manchester team Ben will deliver advice as part of the firm’s ‘two expert’ approach which sees investment managers paired alongside the firm’s financial planners to provide a high quality integrated wealth management service to clients.
Alan Edwards, Head of Investment Management at Tilney, says: “Ben is a highly experienced investment professional with an impressive track record of forging strong bonds with clients and professional advisers. We are delighted to welcome him to our team.”
“This is the latest hire in our Manchester Investment team, which we have doubled in size this year. Our ability to hire candidates of this calibre will stand us in good stead as we continue to strengthen our presence in the region.”
