Alliant appoints private client expert as SVP


Melinda Meissner Barham, a private client expert, has joined Alliant as a Senior Vice President.

Barham will provide customised insurance and consulting solutions to high-net-worth individuals throughout the Southeast. She will also play a prominent business development role, facilitating Alliant’s continued growth within this key strategic region. Barham joins Alliant as part of its private client growth strategy, which has been enhanced by the recent acquisition of Crystal & Company.

Barham has more than 20 years of personal insurance experience and is highly regarded throughout the region for helping affluent individuals and families safeguard their assets via the delivery of highly strategic long-term risk mitigation solutions.
Prior to joining Alliant, Barham was Senior Vice President and the Southeast US Sales Leader within the Private Client Services group of an international insurance brokerage firm.
Barham earned her bachelor’s degree in international business and MBA from Florida Atlantic University. She has also served as an adjunct professor at her alma mater.
