UBS La Maison de Gestion selects Axioma’s Multi-Asset Class Risk System

French investment management boutique UBS La Maison de Gestion is to deploy Axioma Risk, a cloud-based multi-asset class risk system offering both analytics and data in a single platform, as its enterprise-wide risk management solution.

“As a wealth management specialist, UBS La Maison de Gestion manages more than 2,500 client portfolios, so it was important that they found a partner that could not only handle their large number of portfolios, but also one that could support the diverse range of strategies and instruments they are invested in,” says Alexandra Billon, Executive Director, French-speaking Europe, Axioma. “Axioma Risk enables a very high level of portfolio holdings and risk analytics storage capacity. It offers a high scalability while producing risk reports as its performance depends more on the number of distinct instruments processed than on the total number of holdings. We were able to provide that level of sophistication required by UBS La Maison de Gestion.”

“As we continue to grow our business, we need to deploy our resources in the most efficient way,” says Johann Rivalland, Deputy CEO, UBS La Maison de Gestion. “Axioma took on a high touch, hands on approach, working directly with our different custodians to ensure that our portfolio positions – across both our private mandates and funds management activities – could be fed directly into the Axioma Risk system. Thanks to this piece of intensive work, we can focus on the core of our business, which is managing assets for our clients, while keeping
control over the process.”
