Aspiriant, an independent wealth management firm, has expanded its Family Office Services for high net worth families living in the San Francisco Bay Area, in addition to its continued full-service family office commitment to clients nationwide.

Aspiriant’s Family Office Services group specialises in providing a 360-degree perspective on families’ entire financial profile and oversees all aspects of wealth management for both first generation and multi-generational families of affluence.

The past decade of strong economic growth from Silicon Valley venture capital firms and technology companies has created a new wave of ultra-high-net-worth families, many of whom live in the Bay Area and are juggling careers, family, and managing significant wealth. Aspiriant’s Family Office Services offering is designed to provide centralised advisory services to streamline, simplify, and manage the complex financial affairs for these families.

Aspiriant’s Family Office Services group specialises in providing a 360-degree perspective on families’ entire financial profile and oversees all aspects of wealth management for both first generation and multi-generational families of affluence. The breadth of Family Office Services includes asset management and reporting, income tax compliance and planning, bill pay and accounting, retirement, philanthropy, estate planning, risk, and cash and debt management. With a full suite of in-house service capabilities, Aspiriant provides comprehensive, objective financial advice, and handles the administration associated with managing wealth.

Nikki Michelini is the Wealth Management Director of Family Office Services in San Francisco. Michelini has relocated to San Francisco after spending the last 16 years serving multi-family office clients across the country from Aspiriant’s Los Angeles location. Michelini is responsible for client relationships in San Francisco and leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in all aspects of planning and consulting services provided to clients.

“I am thrilled that Nikki is leading Aspiriant’s Family Office Services in San Francisco. I’ve known her for nearly two decades and have admired her wealth management and leadership acumen,” says Aspiriant CEO Rob Francais. “Under her direction, our clients will continue to benefit from in-person meetings in a personal setting on a regular basis with a dedicated team of financial experts who advise on every aspect of wealth management – from buying a home and property management of multiple homes to preparing children for college and structuring a legacy gift to an educational institution.”

“I often ask new clients, ‘When was the last time your CPA, estate planning attorney and investment advisors met to coordinate an optimal plan for you and your family?'” said Michelini. “While they may not initially appreciate the power of bringing together all these pieces, once they’ve experienced it, they can’t imagine what life would be like without using this approach to managing their financial lives.”
