CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions adds to TPA Market Staff

RELATED TOPICS

Just a little more than 18 months after launching its third-party administrator solution, CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions has appointed Victoria Frey, a 23-year financial services industry veteran, as TPA relationship manager.

Frey will be responsible for growing TPA relationships in the Western Division and report to Bill Riccio, director of TPA relationship management.

Frey comes to CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions from Oppenheimer Funds. In her 20-plus years with Oppenheimer, she’s held roles as AVP – third-party strategic account manager, TPA channel manager and TPA strategic alliance relationship manager.

CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions officially launched its TPA channel in mid-2017, and Frey represents the third external hire in the past two years.

“Presence in the TPA channel is a critical component for the long-term strategy for our retirement services business, and this position will play a key role in executing that strategy,” says Swanson vice president, Intermediary Distribution. “We are very excited to be able to expand our footprint in the TPA marketplace with a great addition like Victoria.”

Swanson says Frey’s expertise and strong relationships will be well received in the TPA marketplace and a great resource for the company’s field sales team as it continues to grow in that channel.

“Having the opportunity to work with CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions over the years and witnessing their passion in building the record-keeping-only solution for TPAs, I am extremely excited to be a part of something truly special,” says Frey. “This is an exceptional opportunity for me to draw on my industry experience and relationships to help continue to grow the business with TPAs.”
