A new branch principal, David Roblin is joining Raymond James to co-locate in London at Raymond James’s Royal Exchange location. Roblin will offer bespoke investment and wealth management services to private clients across the UK.
Roblin joins forces with two other thriving independent Raymond James branches in the Royal Exchange complex, allowing the teams to cross-collaborate through an investment committee and to share ideas and resources – enhancing the client experience and creating efficiencies for their businesses.
He will focus on providing a bespoke personal service, making use of Raymond James’ reporting capabilities and back office support to deliver a flexible strategy suited to clients’ individual investment needs, investing largely in Global equities and collective investment funds.
Having served for eight years in the British Army, Roblin has worked for 25 years in the private client industry for firms NCL Smith Williamson, Brewin Dolphin and joins Raymond James from JM Finn. David is not actively hiring at present but there may be opportunities for new roles as the branch grows.
Roblin says: “I was attracted by the prospect of acting as a truly independent company and benefitting from the support Raymond James provides. It will be much easier for me to focus on and deliver a personal service with Raymond James covering all back-office functions including risk and compliance as well as excellent research to provide a perfect platform for growth.”
Anthony Scott, Head of Business Development at Raymond James, says: “David is a highly regarded and experienced Investment Manager. We look forward to helping him grow with us in the months and years ahead.”
