BlackRock launches two new US government bond iShares ETFs on Xetra

RELATED TOPICS

BlackRock has launched two new iShares exchange traded funds focussed in US government bonds on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The two bond ETFs give investors the opportunity to participate in the performance of US dollar-denominated government bonds issued by the US government. Investors can choose between maturities of three to seven years and seven to ten years.

Both ETFs use a hedging strategy to minimise the exchange rate risk between the base currency of the index components and the euro.

The new funds and their respective reference indexes are: iShares USD Treasury Bond 7-10yr UCITS ETF – EUR Hedged (Dist) – ICE U.S. Treasury 7 – 10 Year Index; and iShares USD Treasury Bond 3-7yr UCITS ETF – EUR Hedged (Dist) – ICE U.S. Treasury 3 -7 Year Index.
