Nikko Asset Management (Nikko AM) has appointed Michael Chen as an analyst in its Global Equity team.
Chen is a Chartered Financial Analyst with a degree from the London School of Economics, and will be responsible for providing industry and stock level research and analysis. He joins Nikko AM from Schroders in London.

Chen joins a Global Equity team whose assets under management have grown to exceed GBP1 billion since joining Nikko AM in 2014. The Firm expects to continue adding depth to the team, as required, to meet growing demand for its capability.
Nikko AM’s Global Equity team manages high conviction global equity long-only portfolios focused on companies that meet its Future Quality criteria. The team is based in Edinburgh, Scotland and currently comprises five portfolio managers with an average of 22 years’ industry experience.
