Ned Davis Research appoints Global Head of Sales

Ned Davis Research (NDR) has appointed Josh Monroe as its Global Head of Sales. Monroe will oversee a sales team spanning across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, which serve both the institutional and wealth management markets.

Most recently, Monroe served as Senior Vice President, Head of Sales, Trading and Risk Solutions for North America at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). Prior to FIS, he served as Vice President within the Global Macro business at SAC Capital. His capital markets experience also includes roles at Morgan Stanley and Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company.
“I’ve long respected NDR as a global leader in investment research,” says Monroe. “NDR has built an impressive reputation in helping clients see the signals in markets, and I am excited to be joining such a strong team during the company’s next chapter of growth.”
“When we met Josh, we knew he was the exact match with NDR’s culture of intellectual integrity and independence,” says Bashar AL-Rehany, Chairman, Investment Research Division, Euromoney. “His track record of delivering growth speaks for itself, and I know his industry expertise means Josh can begin delivering from the onset.”
In his new role, Monroe will be based in NDR’s New York City office and will have global responsibility for all aspects of sales from new sales to account management for subscription research, custom research and NDR’s fast-growing Investment Solutions business. He will also be a member of NDR’s senior management team.
