TD Asset Management (TDAM) has launched three new TD Exchange-Traded Funds on the Toronto Stock Exchange – the TD Active Global Enhanced Dividend ETF (TGED), the TD Systematic International Equity Low Volatility ETF (TILV), and the TD Global Technology Leaders Index ETF (TEC).
TGED is an actively managed, total-return focused ETF that strives to earn income and generate moderate capital growth by investing primarily in dividend-paying equity securities of issuers located anywhere in the world. The ETF may use options strategies to help reduce risk and earn additional income.
TILV is a quantitative ETF strategy that aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing directly in, or obtaining exposure to, equity securities of developed market issuers outside Canada and the United States, while also seeking to reduce volatility.
TEC is a technology focused ETF that seeks to track, to the extent reasonably possible and before the deduction of fees and expenses, the performance of Solactive Global Technology Leaders Index, a custom index designed by TDAM in collaboration with Solactive AG. This Index can provide investors with exposure to today’s most successful technology companies as well as emerging technology companies.
“We are excited once again to be introducing new ETFs to the marketplace, providing investors with more choice and value-added solutions,” says Bruce Cooper, CEO & CIO, TD Asset Management. “These ETFs build upon our strength at TDAM in passive and active portfolio management, including low volatility strategies. As Canada’s largest asset manager, we are continuously seeking to provide innovative products to help our clients meet their investment goals.”
