Rowan Dartington has appointed Mark Leather as its new Chief Risk Officer. He is responsible for the strategic leadership of the firm’s risk and compliance functions and sits on the Rowan Dartington board.
Leather has over 21 years’ experience in influencing risk culture and managing compliance within large organisations. He was most recently Chief Risk Officer for Business Processing Operations at Wipro and prior to that spent over seven years as the Group Compliance Director at Old Mutual Wealth (now Quilters Plc). He has also held various senior risk and compliance consultancy roles at Deloitte and Ernst & Young.
Leather replaces Clare Holt who has joined St James’s Place and is therefore staying within the group.
Rowan Dartington’s Executive Chairman Graham Coxell, says: “It’s great to have Mark on-board. The fast-changing, complex and uncertain environment we operate in requires an experienced senior leader to identify and help us, as a leadership team, manage our risks whilst also seeking new opportunities. Mark’s considerable expertise will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our risk management capabilities and manage the growth of Rowan Dartington.”
