The Salvus Master Trust which recently applied for Master Trust Authorisation has launched an app for members which is available on both Android and IOS.
The app provides a wide range of services to Salvus members including savings modellers, tax tables and regular news feeds. The app also allows members to log-in to the Salvus Member portal operated by HS Admin for valuations, investment holdings, switching and transfers-in.
According to a recent survey carried out by Buck, 84 per cent of employers surveyed said they wanted their members to have access to online tools and education.
Bill Finch, Head of Sales for Salvus, says “Member engagement and education is now becoming a priority for many employers offering a work-place pension, especially with the current phased increases to regular contributions. There is also clear demand from members for new digitalised solutions which can enable better engagement with their long-term savings. In a society which demands instant news and instant answers, the Salvus Pension app allows the additional access members need in real time and on-the-go.
Finch adds: “The ability to link into Origo for transfers/consolidation and our Salvus Retirement Bridge for drawdown and pension freedoms will further enhance the Salvus member experience.”
Salvus Master Trust submitted its application for MT authorisation at the beginning of May and has GBP175 million of funds under management and over 62,000 members.
