US advisers struggle to recognise smart beta providers

This week we see research from the US from Columbia Threadneedle showing that advisers are familiar with smart beta but loathe to use it.

It also shows that they are often not familiar with the supplier of their ETFs which is, Marc Zeitoun from Columbia Threadneedle says, concerning.

The future for digital asset ETPs 

Custody specialist, Komainu, was launched in 2018 as a joint venture between Nomura, digital-asset investment manager, CoinShares and blockchain business, Ledger. The Jersey-based firm, which also has offices in London, Dublin, Dubai and Singapore, describes itself as a “gateway to the digital-asset ecosystem.”
