Generali Investments Partners Società di gestione del risparmio (GIP) has strengthened its team with two senior appointments.
Anna Maria Reforgiato Recupero has been appointed as Head of Strategic Investors Group. Reporting to GIP CEO, Carlo Trabattoni, the Strategic Investor Group team led by Reforgiato Recupero is acting as a hub for all the Generali Group’s asset management companies and units, including boutiques and affiliates, when dealing with strategic partners and key accounts. In particular, the team is involved in the design, negotiation and delivery of bespoke investment solutions and cross selling activities with global firms aiming at consolidating their relationship with the Generali Group.
Reforgiato Recupero joined Generali Investments in September 2017 as Head of Insurance & Liability Driven Investors (LDI) Solutions, a key function in the framework of the Generali’s asset management strategy in Europe. Besides contributing to the development of a fully scalable, flexible and evolving asset liability management model, in this role she was instrumental in the transformation and growth of the Group’s third party business.
Reforgiato Recupero has over 18 years of experience in financial markets and investment solutions, mostly spent in the investment banking sector in London, where she worked for Goldman Sachs International and Morgan Stanley.
Guido Maistri has joined GIP as Senior Sales to develop the Italian retail market. Reporting to GIP Head of Sales Italy, Paolo Casadonte, Maistri will be tasked with the development of the retail, private banking and financial advisory businesses on the Italian market. To achieve these goals, he will also leverage on the innovative and highly specialised investment strategies the Generali Group is more and more focusing on, within the framework of its asset management strategy.
A seasoned sales executive with a long experience in the Italian asset management industry, Maistri Maistri joined Generali Investments Partners from Blackrock, where he spent the latest six years in managerial roles in the sales department. Prior to that, he worked for several other leading firms such as ING Investment Management and Comit Asset Management/Nextra Investment Management.
