Hang Seng Indexes launches Hang Seng China A Innovative Enterprises Index


Hang Seng Indexes has launched the Hang Seng China A Innovative Enterprises Index which tracks the overall performance of the 50 largest A-shares by market value listed on the ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. 

This index provides a reference for investors who are looking to capture the growth potential of innovative businesses and emerging industries through investment exposure to the ChiNext Board. The top three sectors of the index are Healthcare, Industrial Engineering, and Software & Services, which collectively account for over 60 per cent of the index weighting. 

The Hang Seng China A Innovative Enterprises Index is calculated and disseminated in real-time at two-second intervals. More details about the new index are provided in accompanying appendices.
