ProShares appoints Managing Director, Marketing


ETF provider ProShares has appointed Dianne Anderson as Managing Director, Marketing. She will serve on the management team and report to ProShares CEO Michael L Sapir.

“I am delighted to have Dianne join us and lead our marketing efforts,” says Sapir. “It is exciting to add such a talented and experienced executive to help bring our capabilities to the next level.”

Anderson joins ProShares from the Capital Group, home of the American Funds, where she held a number of senior marketing roles over the past 18 years. At Capital Group, she was responsible for oversight across various marketing disciplines, including digital media, brand experience, marketing strategy, creative development and marketing technology.

“This is an exciting time to join one of the leaders in the ETF industry,” says. Anderson. “I look forward to supporting the continued growth and success of ProShares, and enhancing its digital footprint, product marketing initiatives and reputation as an innovative industry leader.”

Before Capital Group, Anderson worked in management consulting, first at KPMG and later at a boutique consulting firm, where she served as regional director of internet technology. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
