Insight adds five new hires to Client Solutions Group

Asset manager Insight Investment has made five new appointments to its 70-strong Client Solutions Group (CSG).

Specialists within the group work closely with clients and their advisers to design and deliver portfolios to achieve their investment objectives. The new appointments include three solution designers: Callum Duffy from KPMG, Emily Tann from Hymans Robertson and Phil Spencer from Legal & General Investment Management. Two additional hires include a new Client Director, Blanca Koenig from DWS Group, and Client Service Specialist, Lauren Colfer, who has joined from BNY Mellon. The group is further supported by the appointment of Charmaine Ooi, formerly of Cardano, who has joined as Senior Quantitative Analyst and works closely with CSG, assisting clients with portfolio modelling and custom benchmark design.
Serkan Bektas, Head of Insight’s Client Solutions Group, says: “We recognise the strategic importance of the portfolios we manage on behalf of our clients and the need for our teams to be appropriately resourced to uphold our commitment to providing high quality investment engagement, relationship management and service.
“We also recognise that the financial health of our clients improved significantly as a result of strong asset returns and better downside risk management. This is resulting in increased demand for contractual cashflow assets as schemes enter their decumulation phase. By expanding our team we will also improve our ability to provide solutions to those clients seeking to crystallise their improved status and reliably meet cashflow and liquidity requirements into the future.”
