Small business investment house IW Capital has launched a new EIS Portfolio Service, allowing access to investment into the UK’s of high-growth SMEs, through the Enterprise Investment Scheme (IES).

The service will cater to both advisers and private investors with a simple transparent fee structure providing investors with the ability to claim tax relief on the full investment amount. Launched after considerable demand from IFAs, the service will allow easier routes to investment in a fast growing sector of the UK economy for clients looking to diversify their portfolios with high-growth private companies.
IW Capital is an established firm in the EIS space dealing with growing businesses since 2010 and facilitating over GBP55 million worth of EIS qualifying funding for UK-based SMEs. The investment team is made up from individuals with over 50 years’ experience in dealing with investments in the SME arena, including those that have run successful businesses themselves in the past.
The evergreen service will target established businesses that are revenue generating and on a path to profit. IW Capital selects opportunities through a rigorous selection process from over 500 opportunities a year, seeking experienced management teams in interesting sectors with strong potential for growth.
Luke Davis, CEO and founder of IW Capital, says: “We are hugely excited to be launching the service on the back of overwhelming demand from IFAs to provide a managed service for clients looking for high-growth opportunities with tax efficiency through the EIS. We have made the offering as simple, clear, fair and not misleading as possible and by offering co-investment with our private clients who are experienced seasoned professionals we hope to deliver the best possible growth outcomes for all of the portfolio companies backed through the service. We have seen more demand than ever before, both from our investor base and in terms of deal flow, and so we feel this comes at an ideal time to launch. With the addition of this service, IW Capital will be looking to deploy in excess of GBP100 million into UK-based growth companies over the next three years. ”
