Charles Stanley appoints new Head of Middle Office

Wealth manager Charles Stanley has appointed Louise Fletcher as Head of Middle Office, a newly created role with responsibility for standardising and simplifying the firm’s middle office and creating a single central support function across the Group.

Fletcher has over 25 years’ experience working in financial services and Investment Management for both institutional and private client organisations.  During her career, she has managed teams across operations, transformation, business and regulatory change and client services both within large global organisations and smaller UK companies.
More recently she has been working with Charles Stanley as an external consultant, putting in place the groundwork to modernise operating processes through greater flexibility and reduction of duplication. She will continue this work, as well as managing the Middle Office going forward.
Paul Abberley, Chief Executive of Charles Stanley, says: “This appointment is a critical component of our restructuring work to help achieve our overall strategic aims of improving functionality across the business and centralising areas of expertise. I am delighted to welcome Louise to the Charles Stanley team who has an impressive track record in organisational change. This will be invaluable in helping transform our processes and systems to improve operational efficiency.”
