Lyxor launches new green bonds ETF on Xetra

A Lyxor ETF – Lyxor Green Bond ESG Screened (DR) UCITS ETF – has launched Xetra and Börse Frankfurt giving investors the opportunity to invest in green bonds which are used to finance climate and environmental projects and were awarded by the Climate Bonds Initiative.

The benchmark index is the Solactive Green ESG Bond EUR USD IG TR Index, which includes investment grade bonds denominated in euros or US dollars. In addition, issuers are reviewed for the integration of ESG criteria. Companies related to fossil fuels, nuclear power or other controversial businesses are excluded. The bonds must have a minimum volume of USD300 million and a minimum maturity of one year.
The index is calculated as a Total Return Index in Euro, weighted by market value.
