ULTUMUS appoints ETF specialist

ULTUMUS, a provider of data creation, management and distribution services for index benchmark and ETF products, has appointed Jonathan Addy from DeltaOne, part of IHS Markit.

Addy spent over five years as Senior Technical Architect overseeing the web-enabled release of the complete DeltaOne Solutions product set and is one the most knowledgeable and experienced developers in the Index and ETF data space.
ULTUMUS focuses on the index and ETF data space and sees considerable opportunity where existing vendors have not updated their platforms and products. ULTUMUS clients are keen to exploit new but proven technology in their business with the aim of improving data quality visibility and timeliness.
Bernie Thurston, CEO, ULTUMUS, says: “With Jonathan having now joined us we have achieved our strategic goal of bringing together the most experienced and talented people across this fast moving and exciting sector. Where once people wanted to be within the largest of firms, now the attraction is to smaller, nimble and more innovative firms that can drive change in the sector and are free from legacy dependencies. Jonathan’s extensive industry expertise will prove invaluable in the next stage of our expansion plan. We look forward to continuing to grow the business, increase market share and deliver solutions to our clients.”
Addy, adds: “I have always been impressed with ULTUMUS and the growing team, so when the opportunity to join them came up, I didn’t hesitate. I look forward to working alongside some of the industry’s most experienced professionals that have created a highly customisable and agile platform built on the most modern data architecture.”
The ULTUMUS teams span technology, product management and business development across key regional centres in London and Singapore and have a strong track record in the index and ETF space servicing clients globally. ULTUMUS were the first to deliver data as a service leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver quality, timely and accurate global index and ETF data across all asset classes in a single format, validated and customized 24 hours a day.
