Kestra Private Wealth Services adds wealth adviser to platform

Kestra Private Wealth Services (Kestra PWS), a registered investment advisor subsidiary of Kestra Financial, has added financial advisor Kim Hodges to its platform.

Hodges is affiliating with Kestra PWS through one of its associated firms, White Cap Wealth Management (White Cap), which has been with Kestra PWS since 2017.

Based in Provo, Utah, Hodges brings nearly four decades of experience to White Cap, along with expertise in the areas of investment management, capital allocation, estate and retirement planning, and 401(k) design and implementation.

“In seeking a partner, I wanted to align with a boutique-style firm that had a proven track record of delivering top-notch client service,” said Hodges. “With the help of Rob and the team at Kestra Private Wealth Services, I was connected to White Cap and found exactly what I was looking for.”

The professionals at White Cap now oversee $200 million in assets under management, including USD60 million transferred over from Hodges’ book of business.

“We’re pleased to welcome Kim to our team,” says David Johnston, President of White Cap Wealth Management. “His experience, coupled with his commitment to client service and building long-term relationships, makes him the perfect fit.”

The professionals at White Cap specialise in individual investment management, executive stock compensation consultation, and 401(k) design and implementation services.

“There are different routes to independence,” says Rob Bartenstein, CEO and Senior Managing Director of Kestra PWS. “Our job is to help wirehouse advisors forge their own paths and make the transition as smooth as possible. We’re thrilled to have supported the expansion of White Cap in this fashion and simultaneously, have found the right fit for Kim. It’s a win-win.”

Hodges was previously affiliated with Wedbush Morgan Securities.
