Kestra Financial adds to executive team

Kestra Financial has appointed John Amore as Executive Vice President of Wealth Management. Amore brings 14 years of vast international wealth management experience spanning North America, Latin America, and Europe to the Kestra Financial team.

In his new role, Amore will establish the vision, strategy, and tactics necessary to compete, sell, and drive growth in assets under management for the advisors of Kestra Financial’s RIAs. He will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s platforms focused on wealth consulting, investment products, advisory platforms, financial planning, and retirement plans.

“It’s a privilege to welcome someone of John’s caliber to our organisation,” says Kris Chester, Chief Operating Officer at Kestra Financial. “His experience leading successful global wealth management teams will ensure our goals for a leading wealth management platform are not only being met, but exceeded.”

Amore most recently served as Managing Director at UBS where he was the Head of Wealth Planning for the Americas and the Head of Investment Platforms for Latin America, leading a team of over 110 people across financial planning, portfolio construction, estate planning, wealth planning, investment product, and trust solutions. Amore held a number of previous roles with UBS in New York, Miami, Switzerland, and Panama.

“Kestra Financial is an industry leader when it comes to delivering cutting-edge advisor platform services,” says Amore. “I am eager to partner with some of the industry’s most sophisticated advisors to help them bring their clients comprehensive wealth management solutions and empower their continued success.”

Amore’s appointment comes on the heels of Joe Line taking the reigns as the firm’s Vice President of Business Development.
