HSBC Global Asset Management (HSBC GAM) is to hire Shamil Pankhania as a Credit Portfolio Manager within the Global Bonds team.
Pankhania is to lead and manage the Buy and Maintain Credit Investment business as well as support the broader portfolio management of Global and UK fixed income funds. He will report to the Head of Global Binds, Ernst Osiander.
Osiander says: “Bringing Shamil into the team is part of an ongoing effort to boost our fixed income capabilities. He will help us to ensure our long-term client and growth commitments as we continue to develop our expertise within our Global Fixed Income platform.”
Pankhania adds: “We continue to see a growing appetite from clients for buy and maintain credit portfolios and I’m looking forward to enhancing our expertise and fixed income offering with the team here.”
