Brooks Macdonald hires new Head of North

Jonty Warneken has joined Brooks Macdonald as the firm’s new Head of North – Senior Investment Director.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Warneken brings a track record of successfully running financial service teams and companies, consistently delivering best in class investment advice to corporate and individual clients.
 
Warneken joins from Sanlam where he was head of the discretionary portfolio management team in the North of England. Previously he helped create a wealth division at Ansbacher & Co Ltd, and ran a boutique investment management company that developed its own investment products and provided advisory services to small businesses.
 
Warneken is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a member of the Personal Finance Society, the Society of Mortgage Professionals and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Warneken hire follows the recent appointments of three Investment Directors to the Leeds team, and six senior specialists to the investment teams in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Hampshire, London and Taunton.
