Abbey Capital names new CEO

Multi-manager CTA funds specialist Abbey Capital has promoted Mick Swift to Chief Executive Officer at the company.

Swift has been Deputy CEO and Director of Research since 2012 and one of the key drivers behind the growth and success of Abbey Capital since joining the firm in 2002.

Swift is a member of Abbey Capital’s Investment Committee and is also a director of Abbey Capital and its holding company, Cavendish Capital.
 
Tony Gannon, founder and current Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer will continue in his role as Chief Investment Officer and Chair of the Investment Committee. As the company moves into its third decade the Board believes the separation of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer roles will further strengthen the business and position us to serve our clients for the years ahead.
