Blackrock launches new iShares emerging markets bond ETF on Xetra

The iShares JP Morgan ESG $ EM Bond UCITS ETF allows investors to participate in the performance of fixed and floating rate US dollar-denominated government or quasi-government emerging market bonds.

The exposure is limited to bonds with a high ESG rating. The reference index JP Morgan ESG EMBI Global Diversified Index therefore excludes quasi-state institutions involved in coal, tobacco or weapons transactions that violate the United Nations Global Impact Principles for Corporate Sustainability.

The securities included in the index have a minimum outstanding amount of USD500 million and a maturity of at least two and a half years. In addition, the country weighting is limited to 10 per cent.
