Lyxor launches new Japanese equities ETF on Xetra

Lyxor has launched a new ETF, the Lyxor JPX-Nikkei 400 (DR) UCITS ETF – Daily Hedged to EUR – Dist, focused on Japanese equities on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The fund offers investors the opportunity to participate in the performance of 400 companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The benchmark index is the JPX-Nikkei 400 Net Total Return Daily EUR Hedged Index. The stocks included in the index are selected not only on the basis of market capitalisation, but also on the basis of fundamental data such as return on equity, operating result and corporate governance.

The fund also uses a daily currency hedging strategy to mitigate fluctuations in the exchange rate between the fund currency and the currency of the components of the index.
