Global ETPs collected USD206.7 billion making it the best quarter in 2019


Global ETPs collected USD206.7 billion in the fourth quarter bringing year-to-date flows to USD559.0 billion for 2019. Quarterly flows were led by Fixed Income with USD66.7 billion, US Equity with USD66.3 billion, Broad Developed Markets Equity with USD31.4 billion, Emerging Market Equity with USD24.0 billion, and Europe Equity with USD12.2 billion.That’s according to the latest data from BlackRock which reveals that Fixed Income broke last quarter’s flows’ record by USD1.8 billion and now holds the highest quarterly flows with USD66.7 billion.

US Equity meanwhile, continued its trend of increasing quarterly inflows with USD66.3 billion during fourth quarter, led by Large Cap with USD28.5 billion.

Broad Developed Markets had its strongest quarter this year with USD31.4 billion, mostly from Global DM Equity with USD19.7 billion.

Europe Equity recorded its first positive quarterly flow this year with USD12.2 billion driven by Broad Europe Equity with USD8.9 billion and UK Equity with USD6.2 billion
