Eaton Vance appoints Business Development Director, Nordics


Eaton Vance Management (International) Limited (EVMI), an indirect subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp (Eaton Vance), has appointed Henrik Hoffmann-Fischer as Business Development Director, Nordics, reporting to TJ Halbertsma, Managing Director, EVMI.Hoffmann-Fischer will oversee existing client relationships and new business development for the Nordics region, covering the full suite of Eaton Vance offerings, with a focus on Eaton Vance Management credit, emerging market debt and responsibly managed strategies and the systematic investment strategies of Eaton Vance’s Parametric affiliate. This includes overall management of sales, cultivation of new distribution opportunities and client service. He will work collaboratively with Eaton Vance’s investment teams in London and Boston, and with Sebastian Vargas, Business Development Director, EVMI, as Vargas transitions to a new role covering the Netherlands and Southern Europe.

“Henrik is an established business development leader in the Nordic region with strong client relationships,” says Halbertsma. “We are confident in his ability to successfully lead our efforts alongside the investment teams.” 
Hoffmann-Fischer joins EVMI from Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) in London, where he served most recently as Head of Sales, Nordics. Prior to UBP, he was associated with Kirstein A/S, most recently as Co-Head of Intelligence.
Hoffmann-Fischer earned a BS in Foreign Service at Georgetown University and MSc in Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. He is fluent in Danish and English, and proficient in French, Norwegian and Swedish.
