Tabula was set up in 2018 to focus on developing innovative solutions to fixed income exposure in ETFs. It offers institutional investors access to both long and short credit indices, corporate bonds and alternative risk premia. The fund manager currently offers five ETFs and plans to launch further funds during the second quarter of this year.
“We are delighted Gary has joined our rapidly expanding team. He has over 20 years’ experience covering some of the world’s largest asset allocators and has a key role to play in helping us build on our strong growth to date,” says Tabula CEO Michael John Lytle.
Smith says: “The ETF sector has been dominated by equities but the level of flows into fixed income ETFs is increasing dramatically. This is partly being driven by new players like Tabula who are leading the market in product innovation, so I am very excited to be joining such a dynamic and fast-growing team.”
