Hamilton ETFs to merge Hamilton Global Bank ETF and Hamilton Global Financials ETF

Hamilton Capital Partners, subject to all required unitholder and regulatory approvals, is proposing to merge the Hamilton Global Bank ETF into the Hamilton Global Financials ETF. If all necessary approvals are obtained, it is expected that the Merger will be effective on or about 26 June, 2020 (the “Effective Date”).

“We are pleased to announce the proposed merger, which we believe provides numerous benefits to unitholders including lower fees, greater portfolio diversification, and higher growth within an expanded investing universe”. says Rob Wessel, Managing Partner of Hamilton ETFs. “The global financial sector is well over US$10 trillion in market capitalization and offers opportunities for outperformance through stock selection from specialist investors”.
