Vanhoenacker says: ‘In recent years, we have seen a surge in our clients’ appetite for non-traditional assets, such as private equity. With low or negative interest rates likely to be in place for the next few years, investors are seeking to diversify their portfolios and generate more yield. I am delighted that we have joined the LPEA, supporting all their great work. I’m honoured to be Rajaa’s next guest on 18 June, as part of their ‘10 years, 10 minutes’ series, to discuss industry trends and how private equity, wealth planning and unit-linked life insurance can be a winning combination’.
Mekouar adds: ’We’re delighted to welcome Lombard International Assurance as a full member. The company is a key player in its sector, across Europe and beyond, and actively promotes the integration of PE in its insurance portfolios. This is aligned to our mission of promoting the attractiveness of Luxembourg as an international hub for transacting PE business and servicing the PE industry in all of its dimensions.’
