Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey office grows its investment management team


Investment management firm, Quilter Cheviot has welcomed a new investment manager hire to its growing team in Jersey.Richard Pemberton joins as Executive Director, from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management having started his career as a graduate in Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey office in 2000.

Pemberton was until recently, a lead manager for Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s bond fund as well as several large bespoke mandates. He brings significant experience in bond fund selection and portfolio construction for multi-asset model strategies.
Pemberton says: “I am thrilled to have come full circle and to once again be part of the Quilter Cheviot team; it is great to see how this renowned business has thrived in recent years, all while keeping its clients’ needs the forefront of everything it does.

Richard will report to Tim Childe, Head of Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey office and International.
Childe says: “We are delighted to welcome Richard back to Quilter Cheviot; he returns as a specialist in lower risk investment solutions and will bolster our offering in this space having built a solid reputation in delivering consistent returns over the last 20 years. I have no doubt that his knowledge and expertise will further strengthen our team here in Jersey and enable us to continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients both locally and internationally.”
With a 30 strong Jersey based team, it is one of the largest discretionary investment management teams in the Channel Islands.
