Charles Stanley adds 5-star managed portfolios to AJ Bell platform

Charles Stanley’s range of Dynamic Passive and Blended models are now available to advisers through the AJ Bell Investcentre platform.  The firm has enhanced its 5-star Defaqto-rated Model Portfolio Service by offering a total of eight risk-rated managed portfolios through AJ Bell, including four Dynamic Passive Portfolios (2-5) and four Blended Portfolios (2-5).

Two of the passive portfolio range – Dynamic Passive 2 and 3 – have won a number of awards, underscoring the strength of the dynamic passive investment approach.  In response to adviser demand, its range of high quality, low cost Managed Portfolios are now available on in excess of 10 of the major platform providers.
Steve Hill, Head of Intermediary Sales at Charles Stanley, says: “Adding our range of model solutions to the AJ Bell Investcentre platform demonstrates our commitment to meeting the needs of the intermediary market and helping them grow their businesses.  They are attractive to advisers with both small and large investor clients as they offer dynamic hands-on management combined with low-cost implementation and well-diversified portfolios that are regularly re-balanced in response to evolving market conditions.”
AJ Bell announced the first third-party Managed Portfolio Services to be added to its adviser platform in August, to sit alongside the AJ Bell MPS.
Billy Mackay, Marketing Director at AJ Bell Investcentre, says: “The addition of third-party MPS providers to the platform has been well received by advisers who want access to outsourced investment solutions. When we launched in August we said we’d be expanding the panel in line with demand from advisers and we are pleased to be adding the Charles Stanley portfolios to satisfy demand and give advisers further choice.”
