Clim8 extends crowdfunding round as campaign hits GBP1.5m

Clim8 Invest (Clim8), a digital investment platform helping consumers invest exclusively in companies focused on tackling has secured over GBP1.5 million in its latest Crowdcube campaign. The initial target was GBP400,000.Clim8 has now extended the campaign by further seven days. 

Clim8 says its app, which is live in Beta and began rollout to its 10,000 strong waitlist earlier this year, is the world’s first “pureplay” investment platform focused only on sustainable businesses that offer  green products and services. 

Investors in the campaign so far include a venture capital fund backed by the British Business Bank.
