Voting is now open for the ETF Express European Awards 2021, which will be unveiled and celebrated at an exclusive virtual ceremony and industry networking event to be held on Thursday 25 February.

The annual ETF Express European Awards – hosted by ETF Express, with issuer data being provided in partnership with Bloomberg – recognise and honour excellence among ETF issuers and service providers in Europe across a wide range of categories.

The issuer nominations cover a variety of strategies and asset classes – spanning Equity, Fixed Income, Commodity, Smart Beta, Thematic, Active, ESG, and Leveraged & Inverse – while the service provider categories span all the key areas of the large and diverse ETF ecosystem.

The awards follow a clear and transparent methodology and process. For the ETF issuer categories, the shortlists are based on data provided by Bloomberg – with the candidates being selected on the basis of percentage change in assets under management over a 12-month period from 1 November 2019 to 30 October 2020.

Almost 40 different ETF providers have been nominated across the 26 issuer award categories this year, reflecting the strong growth and increasing breadth of the ETF industry in Europe at a time of fast-rising global investor interest in ETFs.

For the service provider categories, the nominated firms are based on a widespread pre-poll survey of ETF issuers and other key industry participants.

Voting for all the eventual winners is being conducted over the next few weeks via an online poll of the extensive ETF Express readership, where participants are invited to make their selections among the shortlisted firms in each category.

All winners are invited to attend an exclusive virtual ceremony and networking event on Thursday 25 February 2021.

The results of the awards will also be covered – along with profiles of the winners – in an ETF Express European Awards Special Report that will be distributed globally.

Voted for by participants in the ETF industry itself, the awards are a valuable mark of recognition and respect among peers and counterparties – highlighting the achievements and success of leaders and innovators in an exceptional year.
