Finantix makes two key appointments in Switzerland

Finantix, a global provider of technology to the wealth management, insurance and banking industries, has made two key appointments in Switzerland, further boosting the company’s growth in this key market and across Europe and building on the additions made to the Swiss team during 2020.

Following the acquisition of Swiss based AI specialists InCube Group AG, Finantix continues to build its sizeable team in what is a strategic market for the company, and key global financial services market.

Guillaume Namur joins as Delivery Product Manager and Fabien Guy joins as Senior Project Manager, both based in Geneva. Their appointments come at a time of continued growth in Switzerland with the team’s ongoing focus on client delivery, innovation, investment and research and development. This follows a trend for wealth managers in Switzerland to digitalise their client engagement and advisory journey with a modular, scaleable and modern technology platform.

With almost 20 years’ experience working in financial services companies, Namur joins the Product Development Team, where he will be responsible for advancing the delivery of Digital Content and Collaboration which delivers clients personalised, actionable digital content and reporting. He started his career with a top global professional services firm based in Paris, before moving to a leading software product company in Switzerland where he held delivery management positions for various African banks. Most recently Guillaume was Head of Digital Platforms at HSBC Private Banking covering business analysis, architecture and delivery management focusing on staff portals, client websites, research and insights and client lifecycle management.

Namur says: “I am very excited to be joining this market-leading, innovative FinTech company as it continues its growth strategy, and look forward to developing and enhancing our product platform even further. Our established and growing presence in what is a key financial services market will ensure we are able to maintain strong ties with our local client base.”

With over 20 years’ experience working in financial services and consulting companies, Guy will support the project management team, is responsible for the delivery of digital projects and ensuring the seamless implementation of Finantix components into our global client base. He began his career with Deutsche Bank Alex Brown, followed by Merrill Lynch, where he held front and middle office positions. He then moved to a Swiss consulting company overseeing financial services clients, mainly in Geneva. Most recently Fabien was a Senior Business Analyst at HSBC focusing on digital delivery and front-office solutions.

Guy says: “Finantix places an emphasis on robust solutions that empower finance industry professionals to grow client relationships without increasing their workloads. The additional products launched by Finantix last year reinforce our standing as a global FinTech player in the wealth management, insurance and banking sectors and am proud to be working with a recognised innovator in this space.”

Christine Ciriani, CEO, Finantix, says: “Fabien and Guillaume join the company at a pivotal time following the InCube Group AG acquisition and the significant growth we have seen in Europe and more specifically in Switzerland. Our plans for 2021 include additional AI solutions, strategic partnerships and further talent acquisition with clients benefiting from Fabien, Guillaume and the entire teams’ expertise, experience and considerable industry knowledge.”
