Leading international advisory firm, AHR Private Wealth (AHR), has appointed Claudia Hermosa to lead its Latin American advice team.
Hermosa joins AHR following 14 years in various banking roles both in her native Bolivia before and, more recently, in Canada where she was the ambassador for Multi-Cultural Banking at Scotia Bank.
Based out of AHR’s Dubai Headquarters, Hermosa’s initial focus shall be the development of the advice offering to both Spanish and Latin American clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
With offices in the UK, Europe and the GCC, AHR provides regulated financial advice and investment planning to Latin American and Spanish expatriates.
Hermosa says: “This is a challenging time for all expats living across the Gulf Cooperation Council, particularly for those who have recently moved and are worried about their short- and long-term finances. Joining AHR Private Wealth is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality advice to ease the concerns many Spanish and Latin American expats have.
“I look forward to working with AHR Private Wealth to assist clients in need and deliver a personalised experience that makes them feel more confident about their finances, while making them feel valued.”
William Burrows, Managing Director at AHR, says: “We’re delighted to have Claudia join our Latin American advice team, which will continue our strong growth and significantly widen AHR Private Wealth’s reach as the go-to financial planners across the Gulf Cooperation Council. Claudia’s experience when it comes to financial planning will help to deliver a high-quality service to Latin American and Spanish expats that helps them with any challenges they may be facing.”
