London law firm Howard Kennedy has appointed Reshmi Manekporia as a Partner to thethe firm’s Private Client team.
Manekporia joins from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, where she spent more than 11 years. Manekporia started her career as a barrister at leading London tax set, Pump Court, and spent seven years at Clifford Chance before joining Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.
Manekporia has experience advising clients and their businesses on a variety of topics including international wealth structuring, tax, and trusts. She specialises in planning involving multiple jurisdictions where family succession and governance planning is important, whether for business or other assets. She has also built upon her tax and private client expertise by developing Sharia based wealth planning, much of which is focused on working with clients and their businesses in the UAE and Middle East.
