Franklin Templeton has appointed Andrew Conroy as Vice President, ETF Capital Markets. Conroy will report to David Mann, Senior Vice President, Head of ETF Capital Markets, and will be based in New York.
“With the significant growth opportunity that active fixed income ETFs present to investors, Andrew will be integral to our efforts to build upon Franklin Templeton’s robust active fixed income ETF line up, working closely with the retail and institutional distribution teams to further augment client education and outreach,” says Mann.
Franklin Templeton’s active fixed income ETF line up has USD5.2 billion of assets under management globally, as of 31 March, 2021 across 20 funds.
Conroy has over 15-years of industry experience and most recently oversaw the institutional fixed income ETF effort for the iShares Markets Coverage Team within BlackRock. In that role, he helped support the institutional client sales effort through education, product expertise, the development of technology for client usage, and working with the market-making and broker-dealer community to onboard new clients and service existing clients.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2014, he worked at Swiss Re in their Structured Credit platform as a trader and portfolio manager focusing on investment grade and high yield synthetic credit products and correlation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University.
