Crestbridge has appointed family office professional Karen Clark to support its international strategic growth ambitions.
Joining Crestbridge as a director, Clark, who is based in California, US, has over 30 years of experience advising families of wealth in all corners of the globe on matters of governance, succession, and family office operations.
In her new role, Clark will draw on her decades of experience of strategic planning and operational best practice to support Crestbridge’s rapidly growing global family office services team, spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Over a career working with complex structures, sophisticated investment assets and tax strategies in a variety of jurisdictions, Clark is a proven and accomplished leader, and has become hugely respected in the cross-border family office space through her work with single and multi-family offices and family office consortiums.
As well as being a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Clark is also a member of the Family Firm Institute, the Purposeful Planning Institute and serves on the Board of Trustees for Astia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to levelling the investment playing field for women and minority entrepreneurs.
Heather Tibbo, Group Head of Family Officer Services at Crestbridge, says: “Karen is hugely respected in the family office sector, and brings with her industry leading experience and knowledge, spanning intergenerational wealth transfer, cross-border planning, strategic philanthropy and succession planning.
“Building on our innovative joint venture with Willow Street in the US at the start of last year to form Crestbridge Fiduciary, we are gearing up for further growth as families around the world continue to look for high quality support. We’re excited to be working with Karen as Crestbridge continues to expand and enhance its proposition for globally dynamic families.”
