AHR Private Clients, which is headquartered in Surrey and provides independent financial advice to High & Ultra High Net worth families and individuals, has made a raft of senior adviser appointments following the launch of its UK Private Client business last month.

The rapidly expanding operation has attracted three experienced advisers from industry heavyweights Coutts, Sun Global Investments and Seven Investment Management.

Tom Aykin, Chartered FCSI, Private Client Director, joins from Seven Investment Management and brings with him eight years’ experience in the wealth management space, both as a Chartered Wealth Planner and Investment Manager. He will be joined by Darryl Gilder, Private Client Director, who will join AHR Private Clients from Coutts, where he spent seven years, most recently as a Private Bank Manager. Furthermore, Raj Sachdev will also be joining the AHR team from Sun Global Investment as a Private Client Director. Sachdev boasts over a decade of experience in the UK and abroad, having spent time working for the National Bank of Abu Dhabi.

Steve Ayers, Managing Director, AHR Private Clients, says: “We have an ambitious vision to disrupt the UK private advice market and we are pleased to announce this latest raft of new joiners who will play a key part in the growth and development of our customer base and proposition. Together, they bring a wealth of international financial management experience and we expect to deploy this to provide a high quality and holistic package of services to our clients.”
