UBP Impact Funds now also available on Nucleus and Elevate platforms

Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) has announced the addition of its Positive Impact Funds to the retail investment platforms Nucleus and Elevate. With these inclusions, UBP is continuing to increase its presence in the UK wholesale market. The platforms will offer the UBAM – Positive Impact Equity and UBAM – Positive Impact Emerging Equity Funds to retail investors enabling them to invest purely in businesses that have a positive impact on society and/or the environment.

Both funds are now available on a large number of platforms including: Advance by Embark, AJ Bell, Ascentric, Aviva, Elevate, Embark, Fidelity FundsNetwork, Hubwise, James Brearley & Sons, Novia Financial, Novia Global, Nucleus, Old Mutual Wealth, Pershing, Praemium, Raymond James, Seven Investment Management (7IM), Standard Life Wrap, The Big Exchange and Transact.

The UBAM – Positive Impact Emerging Equity Fund, which marked its one-year anniversary last month, complements UBP’s existing positive impact equity strategy, which launched in September 2018. It generates measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return by investing in listed companies that are helping to solve global problems and have the majority of their assets or revenues coming from emerging markets. The strategy offers retail investors the opportunity to take positions in high-conviction emerging market stocks across six themes (three environmental and three social, for a balanced portfolio) mapped to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These stocks are selected using UBP’s proprietary IMAP system, which measures impact intensity.

Jean-Luc Eyssautier, Deputy Head of Asset Management, London at UBP, comments: “By offering these funds on Nucleus and Elevate, we are making a clear commitment to move further into the retail space. Following-on from our founding membership of ‘The Big Exchange’, a mission-led financial services proposition, we are pursuing our goal of providing retail investors with an accessible, modern and clear platform empowering them to make choices which align their financial goals with the appetite for positive environmental and social impact.”
