A new exchange traded fund issued by BNP Paribas Easy has been tradeable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.

With the BNP Paribas Easy Low Carbon 300 World PAB UCITS ETF – Acc, investors participate in the performance of 300 companies worldwide. The companies included in the index have an above-average ESG profile and reduced carbon dioxide emissions.

Companies that violate the principles of the UN Global Compact or are involved in serious ESG-related controversies are not included. Companies from the tobacco, arms, fossil fuel and nuclear energy sectors are also excluded from the index. The goal is to drive a 50 per cent reduction in greenhouse gases and a seven per cent annual decarbonisation.

The weighting of a stock is limited to a maximum of ten per cent.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,661 ETFs. With this selection and an average monthly trading volume of around EUR17.5 billion, Xetra is the leading trading venue for ETFs in Europe.
