South African asset manager Satrix has launched the Satrix Inclusion and Diversity ETF which tracks the Refinitiv Satrix South Africa Inclusion & Diversity Index, and was developed with Refinitiv.
Satrix writes that the ETF also provides an index showcasing companies who have scored the highest in terms of their four pillar metrics which effectively measures Inclusion, Diversity, People and News and Controversy.
Siyabulela Nomoyi, Quantitative Portfolio Manager at Satrix is the official spokesperson and behind the implementation of the I&D ETF, and says that it strives to challenge South African companies to do better when it comes to inclusion and diversity, disclose their company policies and implement better workplace implementation when it comes to the opportunities they offer their employees.
