Wavebridge partners with crypto index provider Vinter

Wavebridge, the Korean crypto quant analysis firm, has  announced its partnership with regulated crypto index provider, Vinter, to provide smart strategy crypto indices for its upcoming expansion into the European market.

Wavebridge, the Korean crypto quant analysis firm, has  announced its partnership with regulated crypto index provider, Vinter, to provide smart strategy crypto indices for its upcoming expansion into the European market.

The firm writes that the partnership marks an ambitious milestone for the Korean firm as it aims to establish itself in the regulated European market.
In a market where expectations from institutional investors and regulators are extremely high, robust and reliable pricing of crypto assets is imperative, the firm says. Commenting on Wavebridge’s expansion into the European market, CEO Jongwook Oh says: “Wavebridge is committed to bridging the two worlds of digital and traditional assets by providing our expertise on crypto assets and quantitative finance. We will continue to develop our global capabilities to help achieve our mission.”
This partnership also marks the latest signal of intent by fast-growing European crypto index provider, Vinter. Commenting on the partnership with Vinter, Wavebridge’s Chief Global Strategy Officer Taeyong Lee says: “As digital assets move mainstream, the need for smart investment strategies will continue to grow. This index partnership with Vinter showcases the crypto and quant capabilities of the two firms.”
Jacob Lindberg, CEO of Vinter, says: “We are pleased to partner with Wavebridge as their index provider. Working with such seasoned finance professionals is a delight. Thanks to this collaboration, European investors will benefit from creative index products created by Vinter and Wavebridge which inevitably will play a key role to further institutionalize the asset class.”
