Valour launches Solana ETP on Nordic Exchange

RELATED TOPICS

Digital ETP issuer Valour Inc has launched its Solana ETP (VALOUR SOLANA (SOL) SEK – CH1114178762) on the Nordic Growth Market (NGM) stock exchange.

The firm writes that the Valour Solana ETP enables investors to gain exposure to SOL, the native cryptocurrency in Solana’s ecosystem, simply and securely, via their bank or broker.
Solana is the fastest blockchain in the world and the fastest growing ecosystem in crypto, with more than 400 projects spanning DeFi, NFTs, Web3 and more. It currently sits among the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the world by market capitalisation, at USD52.36 billion as of 13 September.

“The launch of our Solana ETP is another achievement for our team in our mission to make the digital asset ecosystem accessible via mainstream channels,” says Valour CEO Diana Biggs. “We’ve seen tremendous interest in the Solana ecosystem and this product is testament to the team’s ability to rapidly respond to that demand, not only by bringing innovative products to market but the most cost-effective for investors. This is yet another major step for Valour and our parent company Defi Technologies as we continue to create not just revolutionary products, but also shareholder value.”

Since launch in December 2020, Valour has grown to over USD200 million in AUM, marking an exceptional first nine months of 2021 which saw AUM leap more than 2000 per cent. The firm writes that growth has been a result of significant investor demand for exposure to digital assets via financial products which make accessing one of the best performing asset classes of the last decade secure, transparent and straightforward. The addition of Solana is an exciting prospect when considering potential future growth opportunities.
